Frank Fats Kroskie;80;of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died on Tuesday;July 2;1991;at 2:50 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born on Dec.1;1910;in Arnold City;a son of the late George and Tekla Contour Kroskie. Mr.Kroskie was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City;Washington Township Little League Baseball Association and Naomi Athletic Club. He retired from the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Company;Allenport plant;Gibson yard. Survivors include his wife;Stella Gordesky Kroskie;three daughters;Mrs.Kent (Mary Ann) Miller of Belle Vernon;Mrs.George (Jeanne) Spisak of Stockdale;and Mrs.Elmer (Stella Marie) Waldbaum of Boston;Pa.;seven grandchildren;Kenneth Miller;Jon Miller;Terri Miller;Kristine Schmidt;Stephen Spisak;Dianne Spisak;and Raena Cullen;four great-grandchildren;Kenny Miller II;John Miller;Ashley Schmidt and Jay Ryan Cullen;and one sister;Mrs.Mary Grdenic of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday until 9:30 a.m.at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:30 a.m.followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.in Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church;Fayette City;with Rev.Father Richard Mackiewicz;pastor of the church;as celebrant. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A church wake service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m.;followed by a Rosary service at 3:30 p.m. The Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
