A veteran of World War I;he was member of American Legion Post 22;Charleroi;and World War One Barracks of Mon Valley;350. Survivors are his widow;Elizabeth Hutchison Opfar;three brothers;Howard;William and Earl of Fayette City;two sisters;Mrs.Pearl Bishop;Wilkinsburg and Mrs.Perce (Mary Belle) Richard of Clairton. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;where funeral services will be held Monday;Dec.21;at 3 p.m. The Rev.William McNeil;pastor of the Methodist Church;Fayette City;will officiate.
