Obituary

Frank E.Opfar,74,of Belle Vernon,R.D.4,formerly of Fayette City,died Dec.18,1964,at 5 a.m. in the Oakland Veterans Administration Hospital,Pittsburgh. He was born in Elizabeth on Jan.26,1890. A veteran of World War I,he was member of American Legion Post 22,Charleroi,and World War One Barracks of Mon Valley,350. Survivors are his widow,Elizabeth Hutchison Opfar,three brothers,Howard,William and Earl of Fayette City,two sisters,Mrs.Pearl Bishop,Wilkinsburg and Mrs.Perce (Mary Belle) Richard of Clairton. Friends are being received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Fayette City,where funeral services will be held Monday,Dec.21,at 3 p.m. The Rev.William McNeil,pastor of the Methodist Church,Fayette City,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Howard W.McCrory,funeral director.
