Obituary

Frank E. Dohan, 79, of 1019 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, died Monday, June 15, 1998, at 9 a.m. in his home. Born Nov. 1, 1918, in Fairhope, he was a son of the late Andrew and Julia Zamorski Dohan. Mr. Dohan was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church of Belle Vernon and the Belle Vernon Moose lodge. He retired after 39 years of service from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., Monessen plant, where he worked as a stopper marker. Mr. Dohan was later associated with Cornell's Hardware in Belle Vernon for many years. Survivors include his wife, Myra Cornell Dohan, and two sisters, Mary Ottena and Helen Dohan, both of Fairhope. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and George Dohan. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Ferguson Funeral Home Inc., 700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,where a Prayer service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian R.C.Church,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
