Obituary

Frank Dietz of 34 Pacific Boulevard,Monessen,died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital,June 18,1960,at 2:50 p.m. Mr.Dietz was born in Smithton,Pa.,May 10,1895. He was employed at the Monessen plant of Pittsburgh Steel Company. A veteran of World War One,he served with the 82nd Division,and was a member of American Legion Post 22,Charleroi,and the Last Two Men's Club. He is survived by his wife,Valentine Marie Borne Dietz,two sons,Frank R.Dietz of Roscoe and Melvin J.Dietz of Monessen,one brother,Joseph Dietz of Smithton,four sisters,Mrs.Sebastian Marcus,Pittsburgh,Mrs.Anna Nightman,Smithton,Mrs.Edmond Suslinski,Claridge,Pa.,and Mrs.John Grilc,Hutchinson,Pa.,and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Schrock Funeral Home during hours of 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services will be held there Tuesday,June 21,at 1 p.m. in charge of Rev.John H.Schutz. Graveside military services will be conducted by American Legion Post 22. Interment,Belle Vernon cemetery. Harold L.Schrock,funeral director.
