He was born in Italy on Oct. 5;
1921; a son of the late Luigi and
Maria Perri Caruso.
Mr. Caruso was a member of
St. Sebastian Roman Catholic
Church of Belle Vernon and the
Italian Club of Monessen.
He had lived in Belle Vernon
since 1945 and was formerly of
Monessen.
A former auto body repairman; he last worked at Waltz
Mill; Westinghouse Plant; from
where he retired in 1986.
In addition to his parents; he
was preceded in death by a
brother; Thomas Caruso.
He is survived by his wife;
Martina Piacentino Caruso;
with whom he celebrated 46
years of marriage on April 5;
1991; two daughters; Mrs. Andrew (Maria) Adametz of Belle
Vernon and Mrs. Donald
(Louise) Cox of Brownsville; a
sister; Mrs. Josephine Rettura
of Monessen; and four grandchildren; Richard and Lisa
Adametz and Tricia and
Christopher Cox.
Friends will be received at the
Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.;
700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon;
Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m A Prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
