Obituary

Frank Stockus,56,of Lynnwood,an employee of the Page Division of the American Chain and Cable Company for the past 16 years,was killed instantly in an accident at the mill Tuesday night, March 20,1945.  According to reports, Mr. Stockus,who worked in the wire mill,was drawing wire about 9:40 p.m. when he was caught on a wire-drawing block and was killed.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Stockus;a son,Sgt. Fred Stockus, at Seattle, Wash.;two daughters, Mrs. William Jesko and Agnes,at home; a brother, Joseph Stockus of Monessen; two sisters and a brother in Europe. Friends are being received at the Toner Funeral Home,where services will be held Saturday,March 24 at 2 p.m.,with Rev. George Guest,of the Marion Presbyterian Church,officiating.  Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery.  John Lucas,Jefferson,Pa.,funeral director,in charge.
