Frank Bitonti; 75; of Belle Vernon; died Monday; February 25; 2008; in Jefferson Hills Manor; Jefferson Borough. Born in Belle Vernon on July 1; 1932; he was the son of the late Salvatore and Mary Spina Bitonti. He worked as an electrical engineer for U.S. Steel. Mr. Bitonti was a retired Colonel for the U.S. Army Reserves and a member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver Township. He is survived by his son; Thomas Bitonti; of Carey; N.C.; two daughters; Marie T. Smith and husband; Robert; of Mentor; Ohio; and Diana L. Hardy; of Madison; Ohio; two grandchildren; Madeline Smith and Robert Smith; and one brother and sister; Joseph Bitonti and Anna Adametz; both of Belle Vernon. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two brothers; Paul and Sam Bitonti. Friends will be received Thursday; February 28; from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday; February 29; until 9:30 a.m. in the JAMES C.
