Obituary

Frank A. Worry, 83, of Arnold City, Belle Vernon, passed away peacefully with loved ones at his side on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2004, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. He was born in Arnold City (Washington Township) on Dec. 3, 1920, a son of the late Michael and Helen Kroskie Worry. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Worry was a veteran of World War II and retired coal miner. He also owned and operated Worry's Nursery for over 50 years. Mr. Worry was a member of the American Nurseryman Association. He was preceded in death by one brother, Steve Worry, one sister, Mary Sedora, and two nephews, Patrick Hudock and Steve Worry. Survivors include his beloved wife and soul-mate of 58 years, Helen Razzano Worry, one son, Dr. Gary L. Worry and wife Pam of Appleton, Wisc., one daughter, Sandra Worry and husband Glenn Wright of Perryopolis, one granddaughter, Amanda Monack, step grandchildren, Creed F. Darling and Rachel, Jonothan and Ashley Wright, one great-granddaughter, his little girl Leighanne Rose Mohar, one brother, Victor Worry and wife Mary of Fairhope, one sister, Anne Hudock of Bentleyville, one sister-in-law, Sara Worry of Belle Vernon, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received Wednesday from noon to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME, 334 Main St., Fayette City, and on Thursday until 10 a.m., when a blessing service will be held with the Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin officiating. Interment will be at the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
