Francis Thomas Tom Post; 61; of Monessen; died Sunday; February 3; 2008; in Mon Valley Hospital. He was born July 7; 1946; in North Charleroi; a son of Francis H. and Caroline Mandarino Post; who survive. He was Catholic by faith and a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserve from 1965 to 1971. Mr. Post enjoyed camping and doing auto repair work. He was an employee of Matt Canestrale Construction Co. as a mechanic. Surviving is his wife; Helen Bridge Post; two sons; Tom Post and Danielle; of Charleroi; and Scott Post and Erin; of Monessen; a grandson; Jacob Post; a sister and two brothers; Patricia Vegso and husband; Dennis; Kevin Post and wife; Toni; and Timothy Post; all of Monessen; three sisters-in-law; Lorraine (Frank) Maiolini; of Monessen; Jean (John Sr.) Robinson; of Penn Hills; and Peg (Ted) Cheloc; of Cleveland; Ohio; four brothers-in-law; Joe (Mary Gene) Bridge; of Belle Vernon; Jack (Rose Ann) Bridge; of Monessen; Donald (Barbara) Bridge and Bob (Marge) Bridge; all of Belle Vernon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his sister; Carol Lynn Post; his grandparents; Frank and Lena Ferraro Mandarino and William Post; two brothers-in-law; John Robinson Sr. and Ted Cheloc; and one sister-in-law; Patti Bryner. Friends will be received at the RHOME FUNERAL HOME INC.; 1209 Grand Blvd.; Monessen; a Golden Rule Funeral Home; from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday; Feb. 6; at 10 a.m. with the Rev. David Nazimek officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
