Francis S. Andrew Sr.; 83; of Rostraver Township; died Friday; Oct. 17; 2003; in his residence. He was born Nov. 17; 1919; in Smithton; a son of the late Sophia Andrew. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. He was preceded in death by his wife; Anna Krolik Andrew; on Oct. 26; 1986. He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law; Francis Jr. and Pamela Andrew and David Andrew; all of West Palm Beach; Fla.; and Gerald and Michelle Andrew of Newnan; Ga.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City. A blessing service will take place Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Father Leonard McAlpin officiating. A funeral service will take place Wednesday; Oct. 22; at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
