Obituary

Francis H. (Rudy) Eversburg,69,of 209 Monessen St.,Belle Vernon,died Tuesday,Sept. 20,1994,at 6:50 p.m. in Jefferson Hospital,Jefferson Borough. Mr. Eversburg was born Oct. 25,1924,in Arnold City, a son of the late Rudolph and Catherine Rade Eversburg. He retired Sept. 6,1980,as a fence machine operator for the former Page Fence Division of American Chain and Cable in Monessen.  Mr. Eversburg was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II.  He was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,and the Ukrainian Literary and Beneficial Association of Monessen. Mr. Eversburg was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area. Surviving are his wife, Ella Marion Kelley Eversburg; three daughters, Mrs. James (Marian) Long of Valparaiso, Ind.,Rosanne Eversburg of Boise, Idaho and Mrs. Jerry (Eileen) Burke of LePorte,Ind.; one brother, Robert Eversburg of Alexandria,Va.; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Patricia) Valari of Ben Salem and Richard (Katherine) Nash of Arlington, Va. and one granddaughter, Jenna Burke.  Two brothers, John and Stephen Eversburg are deceased. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Friday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastain Church, Belle Vernon.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The family suggests contributions in Mr. Eversburg's memory may be made to a favorite charity of choice. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
