Francis C. Maguire,Sr.,aged 59 years,125 Elm street, Monessen,died Friday morning, Nov. 23,1956 at 4:45 a.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital following a heart attack. The deeased was a member of St. Leonard's R.C.Church and the Holy Name Society of the church. He was employed as a draftsman at the local Page Division,American Chain and Cable Co.,Inc. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillian Hickey Maguire; two sons, Francis,Jr. of Belle Vernon and Thomas at home; five daughters, Lillian Maguire at home, Mrs. Peter (Mary) Kovalsky of Belle Venron, Mrs. Jay (Louise) Stark of Monessen,Mrs. Leo (Sarah) Daughery of Pittsburgh,and Florence Maguire of Detroit and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Edwin Melenyzer Funeral Home,262 Donner avenue, Monessen,where visiting hours are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the funeal home,followed by additional services at 9 o'clock from S. Leonard's R.C.Church with Rev. Martin O'Toole officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Edwin Melenyzer, funeral director.
