A resident of Monessen for the past 48 years;Mrs.Payne was a member of the Union Baptist Church here. Preceded in death by her husband;William Payne two years ago;she is survived by two sons;Clarence;at home and Milton;of Elizabeth;a daughter;Mrs.Algie (Grace) Link;at home;two sisters;Ottie Fore;of Gladys;Va.and Mrs. Lennie Franklin;of Lynchburg;Va.;three brothers;Thomas and George Mickle;of Ruftburg;Va.and Callie Mickle;of Monessen. Twelve grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Draper Funeral Home;608 Sixth street;between the hours of 2 and 5 and 7 and 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the Union Baptist Church Tuesday;Aug.16;at 11 a.m. Rev.Philip Green will officiate.
