Frances Grunwald,95,of (Arnold City) Belle Vernon,died Sunday July 23,2000,at the home of her daughter,Margaret Grant. She was born Aug. 11,1904,in Mt. Pleasant,a daughter of the late John and Catherine Gasian Walchock. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R.C.Church,Monessen. She was preceded in death by her husband,Joseph N. Grunwald Sr. on Sept. 28,1982; a son,Joseph N. Grunwald Jr. on March 29,1954,and a granddaughter,Diane Brautigam in 1972. She is survived by her children,Theodore Grunwald and wife,Patty, of Monessen, Frank Grunwald of Arnold City,Elizabeth Peduti of Marianna,Helen Brautigam of Monessen, Rose Galaski and husband, Steve,of Monessen,Margaret Grant and husband, Gary, of Rostraver Township and Frances Grunwald of Belle Vernon,15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home,334 Main St., Fayette City,Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.,Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 9:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will take place followd by a Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.C.Church,Monessen. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
