Frances E.Cook;66;of 550 Summit Ave.;Monessen;died Thursday;Aug.1;1991;in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Feb.26;1925;in Belle Vernon;the daughter of Mrs.Jennie Gilotti DeFazio of Speers and the late Santo DeFazio. Mrs.Cook was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church of Monessen. In addition to her father;she was preceded in death by her husband;George W.Cook Jr.;in 1974. She is survived;in addition to her mother;by a daughter;Mrs.Andrew J.(Vicki) Soltes of Donora;a son and daughter-in-law;George W.and Dorothy Cook III of Fallowfield Township;seven grandchildren;one great-grandchild;a sister;Mrs.George (Beulah) Dubnansky of Speers;a brother;Thomas G.DeFazio of Speers;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Epiphany of Our Lord Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
