Forrest B. Bud Hepple; 77; of North Belle Vernon; died Thursday; Sept. 22; 2011; at Jefferson Regional Medical Center; Jefferson Borough. Born August 28; 1934; in Washington Township; he was the son of the late Thomas and Lulu Glotfelty Hepple. A resident of North Belle Vernon; Mr. Hepple was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church; was a retired blast furnace electrician from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel; Monessen Plant. After retiring from the mill he also worked at Eat ‘n Park in Belle Vernon. He was a veteran of the Korean war having served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion Post 659. Forrest was a wonderful husband and loving father who enjoyed cooking; gardening and going on fishing trips to Canada with his sons. He will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his wife; Helen Gadus Hepple; to whom he would have been married 57 years next month; two sons and daughter-in-law; Mike and Diane Hepple; of Belle Vernon; Eric Hepple; of North Belle Vernon; granddaughter; Megan McCormick and husband; Chris; brother; Linden Hepple; of Pricedale; sister; Betty Aldridge; of Charleroi; sister-in-law and brother-in-law; Shirley and Edward Savarno; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a son; Thomas Hepple; grandson; Michael A. Hepple; brother; Thomas Delmar Hepple; seven sisters; Audrey Danielchek; Phillis Norman; Mildred Corbett; Esther Harvey; Coletta Latta; Thelma Posik and his mother-in-law and father-in-law; John and Ann Gadus. Visitation will be held Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the LEONARD J. Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church. Interment will take place in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Forrest Hepple on Sunday at 3 p.m.; and the Belle Vernon American Legion will conduct services Sunday evening at 7 p.m. both in the funeral home.
