Floyd Cobb Diaz;62;of 1664 Beryl Drive;South Hills;Pittsburgh;died Friday;March 19;1976 at 3:30 p.m. in St.Joseph’s Hospital;Pittsburgh;after a short illness. He was born in Marianna on Oct.23;1913;a son of the late Charles P.and Anna Nelson Diaz. Mr.Diaz was retired from the U.S.Steel Corporation;Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Whitehall United Presbyterian Church;Pittsburgh. His wife;Evelyn L.Diaz;preceded him in death on Oct.8;1974. Surviving are three daughters;Mrs.Lyle (Sandra) Moak of Meadville;Mrs.Dean (Sheryl) McCreary of Brentwood;and Mrs.Michael (Deborah) Ziebert of Pleasant Hills;two brothers;John N.and Albert S.Diaz;both of Charleroi;two sisters;Mrs.Dorothy Smith of Newell and Mrs.Phyllis Ann Snider of Decatur;Ill.;and four grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;from 1 to 4 p.m.Sunday only. A memorial service will be held Sunday at 7:30 p.m.in the Whitehall United Presbyterian Church;Pittsburgh;with the Rev.David Dietzel;pastor;officiating. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Howard W.McCrory is funeral director in charge.
