Mrs. Florentine Bohy,aged 75 years,pioneer resident of Monessen,died Wednesday afternoon,July 6,1938,at 5:45 o'clock at her home,617 Manown street. She had been ill for several weeks. Mrs. Bohy and her husband came to America from Belgium 47 years ago,locating in McDonald,Pa. They removed to Monessen 27 years ago. Mr. Bohy preceeded his wife in death in January, 1935. Surviving are two sons,L.H. Bohy, of Monessen,and O.E. Bohy,of Fayette City. There are also three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home with Rev. Edward L. Boetticher,pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
