Mrs.Florence Winstone Popp;60;of New Eagle;formerly of Monessen;died Sunday;Nov.10;1968;at 1:35 p.m.in Monongahela Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs.Popp was born in Monessen on Sept.18;1908;and was a graduate of Monessen High School and Slippery Rock College. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star;Chapter 205;Monessen;and Riverview Baptist Church;New Eagle. She moved to New Eagle in 1957 from Monessen. Surviving are her husband;Raymond D.Sr.;two sons;Raymond D.Jr.of Monroeville and Blaine W.;a student at the University of Pittsburgh;one daughter;Debra Lynn Popp at home;three brothers;David and Harry Winstone of Monessen;George Winstone of Belle Vernon R.D.2;three sisters;Mrs.John (Margaret) Mesher of Donora;Mrs.Frances Popp of Monessen;Mrs.William (Rowina) Kioski of Lynnwood. Friends will be received at the Bebout & Yohe Co;Funeral Home;Monongahela;from 7 to 9 p.m.Nov.12 and from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.Nov 13. Service there Thursday;Nov.14;1968;at 1:30 p.m.with the Rev.William R.Carney;pastor of Riverview Baptist Church;New Eagle officiating. Interment;Belle Vernon Cemetery.
