Obituary

Florence L. Callaway, 92, of Rostraver Twp., passed away to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family, in her home on Friday, November 27, 2015. A daughter of the late Tony and Eva Rapp Altier, she was born in Jeannette on April 8, 1923. Protestant by faith, Florence was formerly of Monessen and had resided in Rostraver Twp. since 1943. She had been employed at the former Monessen Plumbing and Heating Company, Howard Johnson's Restaurant and retired from Hill's Department Store. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Don Belczyk, two sons and daughters-in-law, William N. and Sally Callaway and Larry A. and Lynda Callaway, all of Rostraver Twp., five grandchildren, William and Chemen Callaway, Laura Callaway, Michelle Rodriguez, Larry and Jody Callaway, all of Rostraver Twp., and D.J. Belczyk of Florida, a granddaughter-in-law, Sandra Callaway of Rostraver Twp., thirteen great grandchildren, Samantha Callaway (Mike Boso), Kody, Tori, Emily, Tara, Sarah and Katie Callaway, Lyssa Bishop (Timmy), Brett Bishop, Bria Johnson, (Ray), Larry Callaway, Malena Rodriguez and Gianna Callaway and one great- great grandson, Hunter Callaway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Callaway on September 18, 1988, a grandson, Robert Ryan Callaway on December 31, 2010, one sister, Dorothy Clockerty and twin brother, Norman Altier. Friends will be received 7 to 9 P.M. Sunday and 2 to 4 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Monday in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. www.FergusonFuneralHomeAndCrematory.com 724-929-5300. Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 10 A.M. Tuesday with Rev. Suzanne Currie officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The officers and members of the First Presbyterian Church will meet in the funeral home on Monday at 7 P.M.
