Florence C.Viviani Benny;77;of 2417 Venus St.;Portage;Ind.;formerly of Coal Center;R.D.1 (Long Branch) died Tuesday;March 13;1990;in Miller’s Merry Manor;Hobart;Ind. She was boen Jan.25;1913;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Jack and Minnie Viviani. Mrs.Benny had attended Portage Avenue Baptist Church and the Eunice Bonner Senior Center;both in Portage. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband;David J.Benny;in April 1974. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Charles Eugene (Josephine) Laneve;with whom she made her home;three grandchildren;David;Gina and Brian;one brother;Ernest Jiggs Viviani of Long Branch;several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m.with the Rev.Donald Schnarr;pastor of First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
