Obituary

Mrs. Flora Coins of
Fayette City died at 6:42 p.m.
Wednesday, May 2, 1984, at
Jefferson Center Hospital.
She was 81.
Mrs. Coins was married at
the age of 17 to Thomas
Coins, who survives. The couple was married for 63 years.
She was born Sept. 9, 1902,
the daughter of the late Chess
and Rena Burnett.
Mrs. Coins was a resident
of Fayette City for the past 14
years, moving there from
Ocean City, N.J.
She was a member of the
Union Baptist Church of
Monessen, where she was active in all church functions.
Mrs. Coins had served on the
Usher Board, Deaconness
Board and Missionary Board
of the church for many years. In addition to her husband,she is survived by a brother and sister-in-law,Willie and Rebecca Burnett of Fayette City,a niece,Billie J.Hill of Cleveland,Ohio,two great-nephews,Kenneth and Steven Hill,both of Cleveland,one great-great nephew,Paris Hill of Cleveland and a host of friends and relatives. Friends are being received from 2 to 9 p.m.Friday at the Union Baptist Church of Monessen,where funeral services will be held Saturday,May 5,at 11 a.m.with Rev.Wiley of the Mount Rose Baptist Church,Uniontown,officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral home of Monessen is in charge of arrangements.
