BORN IN ITALY IN 1878 WIFE OF PETER FAZIO MOTHER OF ANGELO;ANOTHER SON & SEVERAL DAUGHTERS.
A lingering illness ended in death for Mrs. Philomena Fazio,well known Belle Vernon resident for the past forty-five years. Mrs. Fazio died at 5:30 o'clock Monday afternoon,January 9,1939 at her late home in 530 Green street. She was married to Peter Fazio on July 21,1903,and to this union four daughters and two sons were born,all of whom survive with the father. Mrs. Fazio was a devoted member of St. Sebastian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving besides Mr. Fazio are four daughters, Mrs. Josephine Colosimo of Yorkville, Ohio,Mrs. Asinita Sellaro of Morgantown,W.Va.,Mrs. Rose Sack of Belle Vernon,and Mrs.Jienene Conn of Belle Vernon; two sons,Samuel Fazio of Belle Vernon and Angelo Fazio at home;a sister, Mrs.Pasqualina Guiliano of Belle Vernon and eleven grandchidlren. Friends are being received at the home where the remains will repose until time for servivces Friday morning at 10 o;clock in St. Sebastian Church with the Rev. J.J. O'Connell in charge. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
