Ferruccia Bilsky; 87; formerly of Arnold City; passed away Wednesday; Aug. 4; 2004; in Monsour Medical Center; Jeannette. A daughter of the late Carlo and Pauline Fini Battaglini; she was born in East Bethlehem Township on Jan. 19; 1917. Mrs. Bilsky was a member of Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church of Fayette City and was the owner/operator of the former Bilsky’s Supermarket in Arnold City from the mid-50’s until her retirement in 1978. Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law; Edward J. and Carol Bilsky; Carmen A. and Sallie Bilsky and Jerome Bilsky; all of Belle Vernon; one sister; Nellie Hatala of Fredericktown; eight grandchildren; Brad; Marc and Craig Bilsky; Carrie Schafer; and Eric; Joshua; Timothy and Jeremy Bilsky; and two great-grandchildren; Sarah and Jared Bilsky. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Edward J. Bilsky; in 1976. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Friends will gather in the funeral home on Friday; Aug. 6; at 9:15 a.m. and proceed to Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Church for a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass with the Rev. Len McAlpin as celebrant. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Father McAlpin will have a wake service in the funeral home on Thursday; Aug. 5; at 7:30 p.m.
