Felix P. Daniels,81,of Lynnwood, Belle Vernon,died Wednesday,Oct. 8,1997,in West Penn Hospital following a short illness. He was born on April 23,1916,in Washington Township,a son of the late John and Veronica Robices Daniels. He was retired from the Allenport Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel,where he worked as a sergeant of plant security. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran,having served during World War II. He was a member of the Lynnwood Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Daniels of Belle Vernon;two sisters, Emily Granlund of Belle Vernon and Stella Sands of Fayette City R.D.;and one brother,Frank Daniels of Fayette City R.D. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Sands Daniels on July 3,1994;and two brothers, John and Anthony Daniels. Friends will be received in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc. Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday until 10:30 a.m.,when a Prayer service will be held,followed by a funeral service at 11 .m. in the Lynwood Lutheran Church with pastor Don Chudd officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Eley-McCrory Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
