Obituary

Felix A. Franks, Jr., age 39 years,of 16 Eggers street, East Belle Vernon, died suddenly Sunday night September 30,1945, shortly before midnight, before beginning work in the Monessen plant of the Pittsburgh Steel company while changing his clothes to start his job as a craneman. He was a member of the Belle Vernon Junior Order United American Mechanics. He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Franks, two daughters, Margaret and Mona Franks, both at home, two brothers, Corporal Albert Franks and Pfc. George Franks, both stationed in Europe, and one sister, Mrs. Paul Leezer of Monongahela. friends will be received at the late home. Services will be held there Wednesday,Oct.3,1945,at 2:30 o'clock. Rev.Herbert G.Mountan will be in charge,and will be assisted by Rev.Harold L.Davis of Uniontown. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
