Faustino Meacci,aged 78, engaged in the grocery business in Belle Vernon,30 out of 42 years residence in that borough, died Monday morning,May 2,1938,at 3:30 o'clock at his home,35 Sampson street. The deceased,a native of Italy,was a well known figure in the Belle Vernon district. His wife, the former Lavin Bellandi,whom he married on April 27,1886,survives with six children, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The children include Thomas and Irene,at home,Mrs. Maggie Valdiserri,Mrs. Sylvia Bartolozzi,and Mrs. Neva Evans, of Belle Vernon,and Mrs. Evelyn Jenkins of North Charleroi. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning in St. Sebastian Church,Belle Vernon,followed by interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
