Evelyn E.Philips;81;of Peters Township;died Friday;February 17;2006;at Manor Care Health Center;McMurray. She was born November 26;1924;in Monessen;a daughter of Jacob Clyde Eisley and Dora Maggie Phillips Eisley. She graduated from Monessen High School in 1943. On April 18;1946;in Monessen;she married Robert L.McNeil;who died June 24;1979. On February 18;1995;in Somerset;she married David Philips;who survives. She was first employed by Peoples National Bank;Monessen;and then served her Lord faithfully as secretary of Center Presbyterian Church;McMurray;where she was a member for 30 years until her retirement in 1983. Surviving;in addition to her husband;are a sister-in-law;Sarah M.Eisley of Aldan;a nephew;David (Mary Margaret) Eisley of Oshkosh;Wis.;two nieces;Carol (Philip) Villanueva of Floresville;Texas and Barbara Milton of Irwin;a step-daughter;Harriet (Bill) Young of Sun City;Fla.;a step-son;Howard (Linda) Philips of Finleyville;and other family and friends. Also deceased;in addition to her first husband;is a brother;C.Bradley Eisley. Visitaion will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Monday and one hour prior to the service at 11 a.m.Tuesday in Milton E.Hamel Mortuary;169 McMurray Road;Upper St.Clair. The Rev.Joseph S.Rychcik of Center Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
