Mrs. Evelyn L. Diaz,a native of Charleroi and former resident of Pittsburgh,died Tuesday, Oct. 8,1974 in Waddington Nursing Home in Faytte City. Mrs. Diaz,59, on 1664 Beryl Drive, SoutH Hills,was a member of the Whitehall United Presbyterian Church in suburban Pittsburgh. Survivors include her husband,F. Cobb;three daughters, Mrs. Sandra Mook of Meadville, Crawford County,Mrs. Sheryl McCreary of Brentwood and Mrs. Deborah Ziebart of Pleasant Hills; a brother, Richard E. Smith of Charleroi and four grandchildren. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home, 334 Main St.,Fayette City,where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
