Mrs.Ward was born in Belle Vernon on Nov.25;1906;a daughter of the late John and Leona Peterman Mollard. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;she was a member of the St.Sebastian Catholic Church of Belle Vernon;Court 1522 of the Catholic Daughters of America;Belle Vernon Golden Agers;and the American Disbetes Association. In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Thomas P.Ward;on Jan.3;1983. Survivors include a son Thomas D.Ward of Belle Vernon;three grandchildren;Dr.Thomas D.Ward and Nancy Jo Ward of Nashville;Tenn.;and Linda Lee Roy of Los Angeles;Calif.;and one great-grandson;Thomas P.Ward. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service in the funeral home will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St.Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.A Knights of Columbus service will begin at 7 p.m.Monday at the funeral home;while Court 1522 of the Catholic Daughters of America will hold services at 7:15 p.m.at the funeral home Monday.
