Evelyn Jones Dauvin,95,of Belle Vernon R.D.4,died Wednesday,June 12,1991,in Jefferson Center,South Hills Health Center,Jefferson Borough. She was born Feb. 14,1896,in Minersville,a daughter of the late William and Louisa Jones. She was a resident of the Mon Valley since 1902. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Monessen.In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband, Clem Dauvin in 1974;two sisters,Margaret Sickles and Elizabeth Williams and one granddaughter,Jacquelyn Beck. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jack T. (Evelyn) Beck Jr.,with whom she made her home;three grandsons,Timothy,Gary and Robert Beck;eight great-grandchildren and one niece,Mrs. Leonard Ross. Friends will be received Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Conrad Aull,pastor of the First Christian Church, Monessen,officiating. Burial will be in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
