Obituary

Mrs. Eva Ream,74,of 432 McKee Ave.,Monessen,died Monday,June 10,1957,at 2:53 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monesen Hospital. Mrs. Ream was born in Tarentum,Jan.28,1883 and was a member of the Daughters of America of Belle Vernon. A former resident of Belle Vernon,she had made her home with her daughter,Mrs. Milton (Mabel) Beatty,since the death of her husband,Ellsworth Ream,in 1940.In addition to Mrs. Beatty,she is survived by two sons,Henry,of Belle Vernon and Harold of Roscoe;two brothers,Steve Lammay,of Charleroi R.D.and Henry Johns,of West Brownsville and four sisters,Mrs. Carrie Heffran of Tarentum,Mrs. Grace Newton of Pottstown,Mrs. Georgianna Protin of Charleroi and Mrs.Margaret Moore of Newfield,N.J.Six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Ferguson Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Tuesday evening.  Visiting hours at the funeral home are from 1 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m.,and services will be held there Thursday,June 13,at 2 p.m.  The Rev. S. George Clarke,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
