Eva Frances Clendaniel Neil, 91, of Speers, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015. She was born Wednesday, July 25, 1923, in Coal Center, a daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie (Savage) Clendaniel. She was a member of Mary Mother of the Church in Charleroi. Eva proudly served our country. She was a Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps Women's Reserve during World War II. In addition to her parents, Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Neil; and sisters, Alice Jan Clendaniel and Geraldine Costa. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jana Rae Clendaniel and husband, Larry, of Clinton Township, Mich.; brother, Mike Clendaniel and wife, Denise, of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; and brother-in-law, Mike Costa of Coal Center. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. As per Eva's request, funeral services were private and were entrusted to the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth St., California, Pa.
