Eva Eliza Eckert of Ridgeview Terrace;Monongahela R.D.1;died Thursday;Sept.23;1982;at 5:15 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 81. Mrs.Eckert was born Oct.25;1900;in Donora;a daughter of the late Robert W.and Myrtle Davis Sickels. She was a member of Sampson Union Church. In addition to her parents Mrs.Eckert was preceded in death by her husband;Robert W.Eckert;in 1979. Survivors include one daughter;Mrs.Albert (Ruth) Rue of Sweeney Plan;one sister;Mrs.Ora Biddle of Monessen;two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the James A.Rabe Funeral Home;701 Thompson Ave.;Donora;on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Saturday;Sept.25;at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Harlan M.Eck officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James A.Rabe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
