Eva B. Crawley of 1001 Grant St.,Monessen,died Sunday,Dec. 27,1981 at 7:30 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 82. Mrs. Crawley was born Nov. 12,1899,in Gladys,Va.,a daughter of the late Noge and Frances Payne. A resident of Monessen for over 50 years,she was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen. Survivors include three sons,Robert Crawley of Monessen,Richard Crawley of Warren,Ohio,and Donald Crawley of Monessen;seven daughters,Ruth Webb of Clairton,Iona Linton of Berkeley,Calif.,and Elizabeth Scott,Dolores Burgess,Beryle Jeffries,Joan Woodson and Joyce Jackson,all of Monessen;one brother,William Howard Payne of Philadelphia,Pa.;one sister,Frances Lee Payne of Long Island,Va.;a cousin and sister-in-law,Mary Ethel Crawley of Monessen;38 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received in the William R. Taylor Funeral Home,645 McMahon Ave.,Monessen,from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mt. Calvary Baptist Church,Monessen,with the Rev. G.E. Mason officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
