Obituary

Ethel May Whitelaw,91,of Cooper City,Fla.and formerly of Belle Vernon,died Monday,Aug.28,1995,at Memorial Hospital,Pembroke,Fla. She was born in Belle Vernon,Dec.18,1903,a daughter of the late Charles and Eva Lewis Snyder. Mrs.Whitelaw was a member of First Christian Church of Belle Vernon. She had lived in Florida since 1985. Surviving are two sons,Charles R.Whitelaw of Belle Vernon and Roy Lewis Whitelaw of Brainerd,Minn.,two daughters,Mrs.James (Phyllis) Dague of Bentleyville and Mrs.Matthew (Lois) Lococo of Cooper City,Fla.,seven grandchildren,Robin Michael,Anna MacCormick,Mark Whitelaw,Tim Whitwlaw,James Dague,Vicki Dague and Michelle Lococo and 14 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Mark Roy Whitelaw in 1963 and a brother,Edward Snyder. Friends will be received in the Ferguson Funeral Home,Inc.,700 Road Ave.,Belle Vernon,Thursday from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m.with the Rev.Donald A.Bowers of the First Christian Church of Belle Vernon officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Ferguson Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
