Ethel Richards of 547 Henry St., Belle Vernon, died Sunday,Jan. 9,1982, at 10:45 a.m. at her home. She was 89. Mrs. Richards was born Aug. 29, 1893, a daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret Jane Guiler Fields. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and Chapter No. I96 of the Order of Eastern Star, Belle Vernon. In 1939 Mrs. Richards married Arthur W. Richards, who died April 2,1982. Survivors Include one sister. Mrs. Elma Musick of Deerfield, Fla.: and two nieces, Mrs. Patrick (Jane) Connors of Buffalo, N.Y. and Mrs. John (Thelma) Emery of Donora. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home, 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.,where services will be held on Wednesday,Jan.12,at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lee F. Dinsel,pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon,officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director,is in charge of arrangements.
