Mrs.Pearce was born July 29;1906;in Sutersville;a daughter of the late William and Mitalda Peters Walker. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband;William J.Pearce;in 1951. Survivors include three sons;Richard H.of Monessen;and James A.and Edward D.;both of Belle Vernon RD1;three daughters;Mrs.Melvin (Shirley) Romestan of Burgettstown;Mrs.Clyde (Sarah Jane) Stangroom of Donora and Mrs.Kenneth (Dolores) Cekus of Monongahela;19 grandchildren;and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the James C.Stump Funeral Home;Inc.;Sweeney Plan;Rostraver Township;where services will be held Friday;June 14;at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Kenneth Neiderhiser officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C.Stump Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
