Mrs.Ethel Brenkus Samonsky,aged 28 years,wife of Louis Samonsky,of 603 Broad avenue,Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital at 8:25 a.m.Friday,August 7,1942 after a brief illness. Mrs.Samonsky leaves a young daughter,Mary Lou,an infant son,Louis,Jr.,and her husband. Other survivors are a sister,Mrs.Marion Kirkpatrick,of Pittsburgh and one brother,Private Milan Brenkus,U.S.Army,stationed at Miami Beach,Florida. The remains are at the late home where friends will be received until time for funeral services,Monday,August 10,with Requiem High Mass at 10 a.m.in St.Sebastian Catholic Church,Belle Vernon. Rev.J.J.O'Connell will officiate. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold Toner,funeral director.
