Mrs. Esther Roberts,aged 49 years,of 34 Maple Drive, Monongahela,died Monday, July 11,1955,at 9:24 p.m. in Monongahela Memorial Hospital. Mrs.Roberts was born in Belle Vernon and was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Monongahela. She is survived by her husband Charles Roberts,her mother, Mrs. Mamie Carney,four brothers, Brayton Carney of Richeyville, Kenneth Carney of California,Pierce Carney of Cleveland and Gerard Carney of Allenport. Friends are being received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad avenue, Belle Vernon,where funeral services will be held Thursday ,July 14,at 2 p.m. Rev. Richard davies,pastor of St. Pauls's Episcopal Church, Monongahela, will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemtery. Charles L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral directors.
