Estela Abigail Rivera Vasquez, 35, of Rostraver Township, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. A daughter of the late Braulio Rivera Mendez and Maria Vasquez Rivera, who resides in Guatemala, she was born on August 1, 1989 in Cunen El Quiche, Guatemala. Prior to living in Rostraver, Estela resided in North Belle Vernon for seven years, moving from Guatemala. She was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church in Houston, PA. Prior to coming to the United States, Estela was an elementary teacher. She has since worked at Sarris Candies in Canonsburg and spent several years working at Quality Pasta in Charleroi. In addition to her mother, survivors include three children, Andrereey Barrios Rivera, Mia Barrios Rivera, and Majory Barrios Rivera, two brothers, Byron Rivera and Noe Rivera, and four sisters, Anabely Rivera, Carolina Rivera, Ury Rivera, and Mildred Rivera. Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the Ferguson Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 700 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon. 724-929-5300. www.FergusonFuneralHomeandCrematory.com.
