Obituary

Ernestine Giuliano, 90, of Belle Vernon, died Friday Aug, 6 2004 in Colonial Meadows Nursing home, Bridgeville. Born July 13, 1914 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rosalee Rizzuto Colosimo. A resident of Belle Vernon since 1939, Mrs. Giuliano was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. She was an original member and past president of the Legion of Mary, past vice president and member of the Catholic Daughters of America, past president and member of the North Belle Vernon Golden Agers, charter member of the Anita Garibaldi and a member of the Women's Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Giuliano, one sister, Theresa Talarico, and one brother, Herman Colosimo. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Albert Jr. and wife Kay A. Giuliano of Coraopolis, and Richard A. and wife Cheryl Giuliano of Pittsburgh, and four grandchildren, Kori L., Kristi L. and Ryan A. Giuliano and Monica R. Travers. Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member, (724-929-5300). Prayers will be offered Tuesday morning in the funeral home at 9:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Belle Vernon, with the Rev. Lawrence Manchas officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Parish Rosary will be recited by the members of St. Sebastian Church on Monday at 3 p.m. in the funeral home.
