Obituary

Ernest J. (Jiggs) Viviani Sr.,82,of Long Branch,Coal Center R.D.1,died Friday,Jan.31,1992,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Township,following a lengthy illness. Mr. Viviani was born June 19,1909,in Monessen,a son of the late Jack and Dominica Viviani. He had been employed as a crane operator in the Rod Mill Department of the former Monessen plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation,until his retirement in 1967. Mr. Viviani was a Protestant by faith. Surviving are three daughters,Mrs. Orville (Ernestine) Bush,Ms.Kay Viviani and Ms.Kathy Viviani,all of Long Branch;two sons,Terry L. Viviani of Long Branch and Ernest J. Viviani Jr.of Charleroi;and eight grandchildren,Brenda Heltabran,Dena,Roscoe,Ryan, Crystal and Kylie Viviani,Danny Bush and Peter Hunt. Friends will be received in the Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,1209 Grand Blvd.,Monessen,on Monday (Feb.3) from 1 p.m.to 2 p.m.,the hour of services in the chapel of the funeral home,with the Rev. Richard Carson,pastor,Howe United Methodist Church,officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
