Ernest Gallo,aged 70 years,R.D.3,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,June 27,1953,at 11:45 p.m. at the home of a son,Hugh Gallo. The deceased came to Monessen in 1901 and made his home here until recently when he removed to make his home with his son. Surviving are two sons, Hugh,and Art Gallo of Hanlin Station,Pa.;two daughters,Mrs. Joseph Rossa,of Mt. Washington,Pittsburgh and Mrs. William Merritt of Monessen;10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends are being received at the Edwin F. Melenyzer Funeral Home,Donner avenue,Monessen. Funeral services will be from the funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with Rev. Marshall P. Watson of the Olive Branch Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetey.
