Erma T. Zema, 89, of Belle Vernon, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016, in the Mon Valley Care Center. A daughter of the late Cristino and Adelaide Ciampaglia Amicucci, she was born in Donora on March 16, 1927. Erma lived in Belle Vernon since 1952 and was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church . Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law,Gary and Leslie Zema of New York City, David Zema of New York City, and Sam Zema of Belle Vernon; a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Kenneth Shetterly of Donora; four grandchildren, Kara, Andrea and Christa Shetterly, and Lauren Zema; two brothers, Ermundo Amicucci of Donora and Chris Amicucci of Sacramento, CA; two sisters, Ida Panseri of Monongahela and Eunice Gandley of Norristown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Saverio D. "Sam" Zema on May 19, 2002; two brothers, Joseph and Albert Amicucci; and a sister, Angeline Smith . A blessing service will be held at 10:30 AM Friday in the funeral home, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick as celebrant. Interment to follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The rosary will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3 PM.
