Eric Charles Weightman; 24; of Belle Vernon; died suddenly on Monday; Dec. 20; 2004. He was born April 5; 1980; in Monongahela. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Belle Vernon and the East Belle Vernon Athletic Club. A graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School; Eric was employed as a dispatcher by PennDOT in Uniontown. Survivors include his fiancee; Stephanie Foreman; his father; Edward Weightman and wife Roxanne of Low Hill; his mother; Victoria Suppa Weightman and fiance Mark Patton of Belle Vernon; a daughter; Abigail Lee Weightman; a sister; Alisha Weightman of Belle Vernon; a brother and sister-in-law; Edward and Tara Weightman of Monessen; his paternal grandfather; Dale Babe Weightman; and his maternal grandmother; Jacquelyn Suppa; both of Belle Vernon; his maternal grandfather; Angelo Suppa Jr. of the state of California; a niece and nephew; Casey and Cole Weightman; and several aunts; uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother; Ruth Gray Weightman; on Oct. 10; 2003. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE; (724-929-5300); a Golden Rule Member Firm; 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday; Dec. 23; at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Tim McConville officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
