Mrs. Emma Luella Kuhn,wife of John R. Kuhn,aged 67 years,died Thursday night,October 13,1932,at 8 o'clock at her home in Speers borough,where she had resided for the last fifty-one years. Mrs. Kuhn,well known to a host of friends throughout the valley section,was a member of Star of Hope Sisterhood,number 263,Dames of Malta,of Belle Vernon,the Women's Benett Association,the Methodist Episcopal Church of Belle Vernon and also a charter member of the Charleroi branch of the Daughters of America. Surviving are her husband,three daughters, Mrs. Markwood Staup of Speers,Mrs. George McGill of McClellandtown and Mrs. Gene Jones of Speers;two sons,William Kuhn at home and John Kuhn of Belle Vernon; one brother,William Curl,of Belle Vernon and one sister,Mrs. Jane Arrison of Bellevue and seven grandchildren. The remains will be at the home of her daughter,Mrs. Markwood Staup,of Speers,where services will be held Saturday evening at 7:30 o'clock by the Daughters of America followed by services in charge of the Dames of Malta. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
