Emma Jean Emogene Dunn; 83; died Monday; May 12; 2003; in Latrobe Hospital. A daughter of the late Richard and Honor Louise Breakwell Hamer; she was born in Fairhope (Belle Vernon) on Dec. 25; 1919. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon; the Daughters of Scotia; and a former member of the H.O.A. class of the church. A lifelong homemaker and mother; she had resided in Delmont for the past seven years and was formerly of Belle Vernon. Survivors include her husband of 61 years; Hugh Bud Dunn; two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Eileen and William Wagner of Delmont; and Louise and Ray Clark of Greensburg; two brothers and sisters-in-law; Allen and Ellen Hamer of Belle Vernon; and Willard and Janet Hamer of Charleroi; four granddaughters; Christine Nicely and husband Dennis of Delmont; and Heather Jean Wimple and husband Jason; Amanda Clark; and Rebecca Clark; all of Greensburg; and one great-grandson; Andrew Wimple. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by one brother; John L. Jack Hamer. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC.; a Golden Rule Member Firm (724-929-5300); 700 Broad Ave.; Belle Vernon. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Thursday; May 15 at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
