Mrs. Emma Lahti Humony,age 64 years,of Fairhope,died at her home, Wednesday, February 28,1945,at 7:30 p.m. She is survived by her husband,Andrew Humony,six daughters, Mrs. Ella Horton of Long Island, New York,Mrs. Sally Schroder of York,Pa.,Mrs. Helen Erickson of Finland,Mrs. Bertha Raynor of Long Island,New York,Mrs. Hilda Davis of Long Island,and Mrs. Elizabeth Seacord,at home and five sons, David Lahti, C.M./3c,stationed in the South Pacific with the Navy,Harry Lahti,Apprentice Seaman,stationed in New York, L. Lahti of Providence,R.I.,John Lahti of Long Island and Eugene Lahti also of Long Island. Also surviving are three sisters in Finland and fourteen grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home and services will be held there Saturday,March 3,1945,at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Bilho Ranta,Finnish minister of Monessen,assisted by Rev. George Guest of the Marion Presbyterian Church,will have charge of services. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
