Obituary
Mrs. Emma Gordon,1000 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,died Monday, October 5,1959,at 9 a.m. of a heart attack. Mrs. Gordon had resided in Monessen since 1917 and was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Monessen. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Janie Daniels of Philadelphia and a brother, Richard Johnson of Pittsburgh. Friends will be received at the Beverly Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 o'clock on Tuesday. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday afternoon,Oct. 8,1959,at 2 p.m. from Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Monessen, with the Rev. E. Archie officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly Draper,funeral director.
